What is the Gospel?

The Gospel is the good news that the Kingdom of God has appeared in the person of Jesus the Christ. Born in human flesh, He lived a sinless life, suffered, and died for sin. He was declared the Son of God through the resurrection and will one day return to judge the living and the dead. To escape judgment, you must repent of sin and believe in the Gospel. The fruit of repentance and belief will be obedience to Jesus and following Him for the rest of your life as a disciple.
