Parker Road Baptist Church began as a church plant by Florissant Valley Baptist Church in 1958. In 1962 we incorporated as a church and went on our own. As with many churches we experienced a lot of changes over the years. Currently we are an older church with a more or less traditional service although the music is not all from the hymnal.
Right now there are three churches meeting at this address. Parker Road Baptist Church, the host church; Ephraim Baptist Church for the deaf who meets in the basement; and, El Faro Baptist Church, an Hispanic church who meets in the main worship center beginning at 12:30pm on Sundays.
Parker Road Baptist Church’s focus is on bible teaching and outreach activities such as a 5 year plan to deliver a door hanger packet to every resident in our 63033 zip code. This includes a flyer with information on all three churches, a gospel presentation brochure, and a DVD containing three Jesus movies on it.
